Work on capital repair of external water supply networks in Shpytky village of the Dmytrivsk Community Council in the Kyiv region has been completed. The project’s purpose is to improve the quality of drinking water, water supply, and drainage services. According to the project to replace the old, emergency water supply network, built from asbestos-cement pipes in the early 1960s, a new water supply system has been built in full compliance with the current standards of the National Fire and Rescue Service. The total length of the new water pipeline was 1,584 m. Under this project, two artesian wells were connected by a 1,000-meter water pipeline to the water treatment plant. The facility was commissioned in April 2024.
The project is part of the EU-funded and Nefco-managed Critical Infrastructure Restoration Program in the Kyiv region, the program’s consultants are iC consulenten, CES, UTA.
